Bike to Work Day Last year, I asked the Ithaca Journal to do a profile series on local, "respectable" cyclists (e.g., commuters, recreational riders, cops) to show that we are not all "wackos" or "hippies." The newspaper was interested, but never got around to it. This year I think it would be great to promote cycling during Bike Month (May) and on Bike to Work Day (May 19) with such a profile series. Let me know if you would be interested in being profiled. Tell me your name, age, job title, and how you use your bike.
