Ithaca Cyclocross Race: October 17 The 1998 Ithaca ’cross race is officially scheduled for Saturday, October 17, with racing starting at 12:00 noon. The location is on the property of Glenn Swan/Swan Cycles, at 226 Mt. Pleasant Road, about three miles east of the Cornell vet school, high atop Mt. (un)Pleasant. The course will be a little different from last year’s loop, with a little more field, and a little less woods. The race is part of the New York State Championship Series and will offer multiple categories, from Beginners to Hard-asses. The entry fee is $10, and most of the entry fees will be applied toward food for all participants and volunteers. We had a lot of fun last year; let’s make it even better this year. For more
