Penn Yan Triathlon The Penn Yan Triathlon well be held June 28, 1998, and will be the first Olympic-distance Triathlon to be held in the Fingers Lakes region (i.e., one-mile swim, 25-mile bike ride, and 10K run). There will also be a sprint (1/2-mile swim, 15-mile bike ride, and 5K run) and a "Friendship Wave" (200-meter swim, 10K bike ride, and 2K run). Entrance fees are $50, $40, and $25 respectively.
