Sunday Rides The basic format of the Sunday rides has been very successful, judging by the level of participation. Established by Phil Davis, the system has been to select routes in advance from the club’s library of favorite rides. We’ll be continuing this arrangement this year, and to improve it further I’d like to refine and extend our repertoire of routes. At the meeting March 8 we will discuss the routes we have and work on developing new ones. If you have a great ride you can tell us about, please do so. But, even if you haven’t worked it out in detail but think there might be a good ride somewhere in the area, come to the meeting and let’s all talk it over and schedule a trial ride. I don’t want to inflict an untried ride on the Sunday groups. However, exploring new areas is great fun of another sort and I hope we can have periodic journeys of exploration for those who enjoy the uncertainty of it. Andrejs |
