Owasco Lake provides one of the easiest rides around a Finger Lake. The initial climb from Moravia along Rockefeller Rd gains quite a bit of elevation, but at a fairly gentle rate. The last few miles descending back to lake level along 38 to Moravia make for a good Sunday ride. Start at the supermarket in Moravia and head north on Rockefeller Rd. Turn Road Leg Total   Rockefeller 11.5 11.5 L NY 38A 3.7 15.2   Emerson Park is a traditional place for a break.       Leaving the park, go left about a quarter mile, then left (on 437) for another quarter mile to the traffic circle. Go around the circle to the opposite side and follow NY 38 south.       NY 38 to finish in Moravia 15.6 31.0 To make a much more substantial ride of this, start at the Friendly's Restaurant in Cayuga Plaza on Triphammer Rd.
